Why Elizabeth created Debut
Elizabeth Slade started C i Marketing after the 2011 Christchurch earthquakes took away her role in tourism marketing. She rebuilt from a one-person operation, learned what reinvention really asks of an owner, and has spent the years since helping service businesses become more visible, more consistent and more connected to the right people.
Debut is the practical version of that belief. It exists for the builder, the beauty studio, the consultant and the local service owner whose work is good enough to be chosen, but whose online presence is not yet doing them justice. They should not have to choose between an intimidating agency process and putting it off for another year.

Debut grew out of that work. We kept meeting capable business owners we wanted to help, but a traditional agency website was not the right fit for their stage or budget. So we built a way to give them real marketing expertise and a professional website, without the agency price tag or the long wait.
